Wolfapines are a predatory animal commonly found in forests and taigas, and less commonly in tundras. Wolfapines exhibit many similar characteristics as the pre-war wolf, including living in small packs. Unlike the pre-war wolf, the wolfapine has evolved a set of quills on its back for both defensive and offensive capabilities. During hunting, the wolfapine will close in on its prey, face its quills towards the wolfapine's target, and eject them at about 20 mph. The quills are sharp enough to pierce sheet metal, and has a paralyzing venom that prevents the victim's brain from sending signals to the muscles, while keeping all other faculties intact. After paralyzing its target, the wolfapine will proceed to eat its prey from the bottom up.
